I work with a broad range of people—from teens to adults—who feel dissatisfied in their relationships, careers, family life, or with themselves. They’re ready to dig deep, explore why they react the way they do, uncover recurring patterns, and discover what it takes to become the person they truly long to be.

Many struggles we have stem from core issues formed early in life, particularly around self-esteem, boundaries, attachment, control, and shame. When we identify and tend to these core wounds, change begins to ripple through every aspect of our lives and how we show up—helping us feel more whole and empowered to shape our future.

I have a special focus on supporting men in connecting with their emotions and increasing their awareness of their reactions, tendencies, needs, and how they meet those needs. In both couples and individual therapy, I often work with people on judgment, improving communication, and automatic fight/flight/freeze responses. By becoming more aware of these implicit reactions, we create space to mend ruptures in relationships. My approach is also informed by Interpersonal Neurobiology, which helps people understand how their brains and relationships interact, and how personal growth can happen through integration, awareness, and attuned connection.

My own journey has been deeply shaped by the work of Pia Mellody and the Developmental and Relational Trauma model, which inspired me to become a therapist after over a decade in social work. Her work helped me understand my patterns around boundaries, judgment, and attachment, and the impact it has on my close, personal relationships. Combined with training in Interpersonal Neurobiology, Somatic Experiencing, and EMDR, I’ve learned to nurture and reparent parts of myself that were immature or wounded.

While I don’t regularly lead with it in my clinical work, my Christian faith deeply informs who I am and how I show up as a therapist. I hold a non-traditional, expansive view of faith—one that sees God not as a distant figure, but as the living consciousness within and around us, continually inviting us into renewal. My approach helps clients move beyond the rigid, dualistic thinking that often keeps us stuck—good/bad, right/wrong, worthy/unworthy—toward a deeper experience of presence, grace, and what I call “just isness.” From that place, new possibilities open up.
